Colonial David W. King, of New York City, former member of French Foreign Legion in WWI, wipes a tear from his eye at plaque dedication ceremonies for late Colonel Fred W. Zinn of Battle Creek, Michigan today. Zinn was honored along with surviving members of the Foreign Legion, Lafayette Escadille, and Lafayette Flying Corps at Battle Creek, Michigan Air Show. Colonel Zinn's daughter Mrs. Howard Wirsen, of Chicago, Illinois also fights back tears.
