Dr. Andrew C. Ivy, noted physiologist and former vice president of the University of Illinois smiles and waves to well-wishers tonight after a federal court jury acquitted him and two other defendants on charges of fraud and conspiracy in promoting the drug Krebiozen. The jubilant 72-year-old former medical school dean said he would continue his research on cancer.
