Foster Johnson, a public relations man from Little Rock, signs filing papers as a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator John L. McClellan, D-AR. They meet in the July 26 primary. Johnson (in left foreground) said he had the support of labor leaders in the state.
