Boston Pops Conductor Arthur Fiedler, taking on the role of doctor-for-an-evening, checks temperature and tongue of Dr. John Knowles, as former Health Education and Welfare secretary Robert Finch (right) watches. Knowles was honored by his friends in the Grasshopper Club and this medical skit was part of the fun. The Massachusetts General Hospital Director and soon to become President of the Rockefeller Foundation, was given a party last night in Boston.
