A baby Matschies Tree Kangaroo peaks from his mother's pouch as she nibbles a lettuce leaf at the new Columbia Zoological Park located near Columbia, South Carolina. The baby kangaroo born last August is the first offspring of animals at the zoo which is scheduled to open April 25. The mother kangaroo came from New Guinea.
