Mrs. Edward M. Kennedy, wife of the Massachusetts senator, suffered a miscarriage Thursday night at Cape Cod Hospital, according to hospital authorities. Taken to the hospital by her sisters-in-law, Mrs. Stephen Smith and Mrs. Ethel Kennedy, she was reported resting comfortably after treatment. This is a 1968 photo.
