Bennett Johnston, Jr. and son Hunter strolled around the YMCA boys camp in Shreveport after the Senator and Mrs. Johnston cast their ballots in the second primary election Saturday in which he was candidate for the Democratic nomination for the governor of Louisiana against U.S. Congressman Edwin Edwards of Crowley, Louisiana.
