Alfred Jenkins, Director of Asian Communist Affairs for the State Department walks toward an aircraft at Washington National Airport. Jenkins, accompanied by a six man advance party will make arrangements for the U.S. Liaison office in Peking. The party is expected to enter mainland China April 5 following a stop over in Hong Kong.
