Olympic ice skaters Carol Heiss and Hayes Alan Jenkins plan to announce their engagement after next month's Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, California, the Newark News said today. Miss Heiss, 20, and Jenkins, 26, are shown in Garmisch, Germany in 1956 when they won the world figure skating championships. Jenkins has retired from amateur competition and now practices law in Akron, Ohio. Miss Heiss, a resident of New York City's borough of Queens, is a sophomore at New York University.
