1959 Press Photo Soviet Premier Khrushchev at National Press Club in Washington

Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev uses an arm-wide gesture today as he answers a query today during the question and answer period following his address at the National Press Club. Questioned if he had used the expression "we will bury you" with regard to western capitalism, Khrushchev at this point was replying. In answer he said that he believes socialism--meaning the Soviet system--eventually will replace capitalism.
