FBI Director Clarence Kelley, right, tells a news conference in Los Angeles Thursday that activities of the FBI in the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst "are almost exclusively directed by the concern for the safe return of Miss Hearst." At his side is U.S. Attorney General William Saxbe who said "there is a worldwide tread toward terrorism" in discussing the kidnapping of Atlanta editor Meg Murphy apparently by a terrorist organization.
