Mrs. Billie Jean King and her husband, Larry, exchange smiles during National Tennis Championships now being played in New York City's Forest Hills. Larry, a student of law at the University of California, is a "bachelor" most of the year while his wife plays the tennis circuit. But he says he doesn't mind, and supports his wife's ambition to score a grand slam by winning the Australian, French, Wimbledon and American titles in one year.
