Senator John Sparkman, left, D-AL, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee poses with Frank Hulse, President of Southern Airways, as they hold a $2 million ransom check from Prime Minister Fidel Castro of Cuba. Castro returned the money that was impounded from a hijacked Southern Airways plane in 1972. Sparkman and Hulse showed the check to newsmen Monday on Capitol Hill.
