The board of trustees for Catholic University named a new board Sunday night, giving a stronger hand to lay members. Among those attending the meeting were (L to R); Very Reverend John P Whalen, acting rector of the university; Patrick Cardinal O'Boyle, chancellor; James G. Brennan, faculty representative, and Dr. Carroll A. Hochwalt, board member from St. Louis.
