Former Teamsters Union boss James R. Hoffa makes his third bid Friday to gain parole from federal prison. The U.S. Board of Parole, which turned down his appeal on March 31, will hear Hoffa's case in executive session. Since his last bid he has severed his ties with the world's largest union.
