King Hussein of Jordan is shown Sunday in cockpit of a U.S.-made F104 Starfighter plane at a base somewhere in Jordan. While in the plane he blasted away with machine guns at a target. The exercise was part of an inspection of Jordanian Air Force bases. His shooting practices was done on the ground, with the plane stationary. He did not fly the supersonic craft, an aide said. Jordan is reported to have a squadron of the needle-nosed Starfighters but they have never been flown in combat against Israel.
