1974 Press Photo Novella Pollard, Huntsville prison hostage with daughter

Mrs. Novella Pollard, the only handcuffed woman hostage to escape from a 10-day ordeal as a prisoner hostage in Huntsville, Texas is helped from he church service Monday of another hostage who was slain in the ordeal--Elizabeth Beseda--by her daughter, Kathy Pollard and an unidentified man. Mrs., Pollard, who is still visibly upset by the incident, said in an earlier press statement she holds no one responsible for the Saturday night shooting deaths which ended the Huntsville prison rebellion.
