1961 Press Photo James Hagerty in five-way handshake at Delwood Petel

James Hagerty, center, American Broadcasting Company executive, joins in a five-way handshake with a group of Japanese students at the Delwood Petel in Mt. Kisco tonight. The students were among those who demonstrated in Tokyo last year when Hagerty was press secretary for President Eisenhower. Left to right: Tekuichire Tamazawa, Yenete Iwanga, Hagerty, Koichi Morita and Yoshikazu Katakura. Students offered apologies to Hagerty while they dined with him. He later watched them perform in "The Tiger" in the Community Center, White Plains.
