1974 Press Photo Paul and Joyce Halverson and son appear in U.S. District Court

U.S. District Court Judge Alfonso Zirpoli today ordered Paul Leonard Halverson, 29, and his wife, Joyce, 28, to testify before the federal grand jury investigating the $10,690 Symbionese Liberation Army bank robbery in which Patricia Hearst carried a gun. The Halversons, shown with their son, Mark, 20 months, would not say why they were subpoenaed. Halverson was granted immunity from prosecution, his wife was not.
