Dr. Michael DeBakey with other Methodist doctors as he checks the condition of Marcel DeRudder in the intensive care unit. DeBakey is the world famous heart surgeon that implanted an artificial heart in DeRudder to help DeRudder's own heart mend and become strong enough to do its own jumping. DeRudder has improved but is still unconscious.
