1972 Press Photo John Heiskell receives 100th birthday gift from E.K. Gaylord.

John N. Heiskell (seated), editor of the Arkansas Gazette, receives a present on his 100th birthday from E.K. Gaylord, president of the Oklahoman and Times newspapers in Oklahoma City. Gaylord, who is 99, was one of about 1,000 persons to attend the 100th birthday celebration of Heiskell here Thursday night.
