1974 Press Photo Paula Hawkins seeks Republican U.S. Senate seat in Florida

"Housewife" Paula Hawkins, from Maitland, FL, announced here early Wednesday she will seek the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, the seat currently held by Edward Gurney. Mrs. Hawkins is an elected Public Service Commissioner for Florida and announced she will not resign the post during the campaign.
