Takashi Hayakawa, left, talks to newsmen in Tokyo today after having resigned his position as Japanese home affairs minister. He submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Hayato Ikeda, who accepted it. Takashi, resigned to assume responsibility for the knifing yesterday of U.S. Ambassador Edwin O. Reischauer.
