1971 Press Photo Aleyia Hernandez with parents after trapped for 5 1/2 hours

A faint smile crosses the face of three-year-old Alyeia Hernandez as she is reunited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jose Hernandez, in a hospital where she was pronounced in excellent condition tonight after being trapped 5 1/2 hours in a 15-foot deep hole. Rescuers dug a second hole to free her.
