1961 Press Photo Navy Secretary's aide William Golden injured in plane crash

Commander William A. Golden, Falls Church, Virginia, aide to Undersecretary of the Navy Paul B. Fay, Jr., talks on telephone in Atlantic City, NJ, hospital early today after he suffered a broken left ankle when the plane carrying Fay, Fay's wife and daughter, Golden and a crew of four plunged off the airport runway into a deep water channel leading to the Atlantic Ocean. All were rescued before the plane settled into deep water.
