1963 Press Photo Astronaut Richard Gordon's son Larry folds newspapers

Larry Gordon, 11, folds his newspaper as he prepares to throw his route in Nassau Bay near the Manned Spacecraft Center, Houston, TX, today. While Larry went about his daily afternoon chore, his dad, Astronaut Richard F. Gordon, Jr., was going through final preparations for tomorrow's scheduled launch of Apollo 12 spaceflight which will carry him and fellow astronauts Charles Conrad and Alan Bean to the moon.
