Astronaut wives Barbara Gordon and Jane Conrad have been friends since in 1961 when their husbands served in the same Navy fighter squadron in San Diego. Mrs. Gordon from Seattle, WA and Mrs. Conrad from west Texas are both former elementary teachers. Here they share a brief coffee and lemonade break and talk about their husbands' space mission.
