1967 Press Photo Chairman William Fulbright with reporters in Washington

Chairman William Fulbright of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, talked to reporters last night after a briefing by a State Department official on the Middle East crisis. More than half of the Senate showed up at the committee briefing. Surprised Chairman Fulbright said "it was more than we ever had in the room before."
