1966 Press Photo Alabama's Attorney General Flowers announces governor candidacy

Richard M. Flowers, attorney general of Alabama Friday announced that he would be a candidate for governor in the May Democratic primary. He is the 10th candidate to announce for the office. Mrs. George Wallace, wife of the incumbent qualified for the race Thursday. (Story in Sec. 1, Page 8).
