1973 Press Photo Gertrude Hass, hold-out juror in hijacker Garret Trapnell trial

Mrs. Gertrude Hass, a social worker, was the only juror favoring acquittal in the trial at New York of accused airplane hijacker Garrett B. Trapnell. A mistrial was declared. U.S. Attorney Robert Morse has acknowledged the federal government is taking a closer look at her role in the trial.
