Walter P. Gewin, Tuscaloosa attorney who today was nominated by President Kennedy for a judgeship on the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals at New Orleans. He was recommended last May by Alabama Senator Lister Hill and Senator John Sparkman.
