Eddy Gilmore, a Pulitzer prize winning correspondent of the Associated Press who reported the war-time and postwar Stalin era in Russia died of a heart attack Friday midnight at his home near London. He was 60. Gilmore, a native of Selma, Alabama, was widely known for his witty stories on the lighter side of life. (Story in Sec. 1, Page 3). Date of photo unknown.
