This pair of African Masai giraffes stick together here today on their arrival at the St. Louis Zoo. Masai refers to a tribe in Africa where the Giraffes are found. They differ from the ordinary type by having dark brown leaf-shaped blotches, outlined by wide cream-colored markings.
