100-yard dash specialist Betty Gilbert, 18, freshman at Oregon State University, will put on her spikes Saturday for special race before Oregon State-Idaho-Washington State Universities track meet here. Blonde Betty has a best time in the 100 of 11.3 seconds, also runs 100 and 440-yard relays. She is 5-7, 129 pounds from Compton, California, and says the main reason she works at track is to get people interested in girls' physical fitness. Betty practices 90 minutes every day. Interested?
