Nicholas Grunitsky, 49, former opposition leader who will head a new government in Togo, is shown on arriving in Lome, Togo, from exile in Cotonon, Dahomey. Grunitsky's brother-in-law, Togo President Sylvanus Olympio, was assassinated Sunday by former soldiers who seized power in the country. Grunitsky, whose father was German and mother Togolese, has been living as a refugee in Cotonon since 1958 when he resigned after elections. He became Togo's first premier in 1956.
