Port officials at Mississippi's major seaport watch as a giant conveyor unloads banana's from a ship just arrived from Central America. The $2.5 million banana terminal can unload over 16,000 boxes of bananas an hour. Banana stalks are put in boxes to avoid bruising them in shipment. Gulfport is making a major bid to take away banana business from neighboring New Orleans.
