Currency brokers of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in West Germany receive their orders today by telephone while new money exchange rates are listed on a board in the rear. European money markets were quieter today as speculators apparently held back in the expectation of international emergency actions to prevent chaotic disruption of the world's major currencies.
