"I think people are fascinated with guns because of the power they represent," says C.E. Warner, President of Colt Firearms, shown at the company plant in Hartford, CT. Warner shares the pride of workmanship felt on the production line: the trophy case behind his desk is filled with Colt products, and he will carefully polish each gun he offers for a visitor's inspection. Colt trades heavily on its history, selling working replicas of antique guns, and produces commemorative, special-edition and custom-made models.
