Description
Inhabitants of the village of San Luis Zacatepec scramble for the water gushing from a broken water main in the outskirts of Guatemala City, Thursday. The small towns on the edge of the capital were hard hit by Wednesday's pre-dawn quake which left more than 2,000 dead. Water and food are in short supply and medicines and shelter scarce in ravaged rural areas despite the efforts of relief teams.
