The young widow of assassinated Polycarpos Georgadjis, former Cyprus interior minister, bends down to kiss a silver cross on his closed coffin which lies in state at the headquarters of the EOKA Veterans Association in Nicosia Monday. The body of Georgadjis,40, once the right-hand man of Cyprus President Makarios, was found Sunday night in his car on a lonely road about four miles from Nicosia with six bullets in his chest.
