Dan Lamont Gibson, 82,may be the oldest full-time working newspaper reporter in the country. Here he works at his desk at the Albany (GA) Herald. Gibson joined the newspaper in 1917 as a combination city editor and sports editor. In 1925, he resigned to serve 25 years as the city's postmaster. Faced with mandatory retirement in 1957, Gibson felt that 70 was too young to quit and went back to work for the Herald.
