These five men, all sentenced to death in a 1966 rape trial in Memphis, had their sentences overturned Monday by the U.S. Supreme Court. Left to right: Earl Foster, 23, Garfield Houston, 32, Ulous Harris, 26, Franklin Wright, 23 and Charles Hunter, 31. Seated before them is Acting Warden Weldon Cox of the Tennessee State Prison. Their cases will be returned to lower courts for new sentences.
