Freeman Frazee, President of Local 113 of the Pressman's Union, talks to newsmen in Detroit tonight after his local rejected 230 to 17 a proposal to end the 105-day newspaper strike in Detroit. The proposal from the publishers of the afternoon Detroit News and the morning Detroit Free Press had been worked out in Washington in conjunction with the National Mediation Board and had been endorsed by President Johnson. The Union meeting lasted for more than four hours behind closed doors.
