1968 Press Photo Karel Franc, Czechoslovakia's consul general, resigned & hiding

Karel Franc, Czechoslovakia's consul general in Australia and its top diplomat there, has resigned and gone into hiding with his wife and three sons, the Sydney Sun reported Wednesday. The newspaper said Franc reportedly had applied to the Immigration Department for Australian citizenship for his family.
