Former United States Treasurer Elizabeth Rudel Smith is embraced by her mother, Mrs. Clarence M. Rudel of Pinehurst, NC, yesterday after Mrs. Smith's marriage to Albert W. Gatov, at right. Mrs. Smith, who quit Kennedy Cabinet to campaign for Governor Edmund G. Brown of California, and Gatov, former chairman of Federal Maritime Board, were married near San Rafael at Kentfield home of Harold W. Watkin. Governor and Mrs. Brown attended the ceremony. Gatov is from Greenbrae, California.
