Army Major David Geary, charged with first degree murder in the shotgun slaying of his wife shortly after returning from Vietnam last January, was acquitted of the charge early today. Defense lawyers contended he suffered from battle fatigue and psychiatrists testified he was insane at the time his wife Ann, 33, was killed by a shotgun blast at their home here.
