Description
President Johnson receives a bowl of fresh shamrock on this St. Patrick's Day from Irish Ambassador William P. Fay. The gift was from the government and people of Ireland. The Irish Waterford crystal bowl was made especially for the occasion and engraved with the President's name. The shamrock presentation was made at the White House.
