Michael Frewen, 15, reads a telegram from the U.S. Air Force at his home in Lansing, Michigan, today telling him his brother, William Thomas Frewen, 36, was one of three pilots aboard a plane forced down in East Germany. An old portrait of William hangs on the wall behind Michael. Captain Frewen has made a career in the Air Force. His mother, Mrs. Mary Frewen was not at home when the telegram arrived.
