Professor Wallace O. Fenn, left, and Professor Bruce Sabin shake hands in Rome today after both won the Antonio Feltrinelli International prizes carrying gold medals and individual grants or $46,000. Professor Fenn, director of the Space Science Center at the University of Rochester, NY, received the prize in international medicine. Professor Sabin, professor of research pediatrics at the College of Medicine of the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, was given the prize in applied surgery and medicine.
