1972 Press Photo Picketers outside Farm Bureau, where Fitzsimmons talks

While Teamsters Union President Frank E. Fitzsimmons (right) addressed members of the Farm Bureau Federation in Los Angeles today, pickets from Cesar Chavez' AFL-CIO United Farm Workers paraded and chanted outside. The Teamsters and the UFW are bitter rivals in recruiting farm workers--particularly laborers in the lettuce fields and grape orchards.
